Liltmoon Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 6, 2026
Liltmoon supports personal nighttime routines. This policy explains how App Store releases and eligible Internal QA builds handle information.
Information stored on your device
Liltmoon stores profile preferences, your selected avatar, onboarding status, language preference, night history, notes, check-ins, and related preferences on your iPhone so the app can provide its features. Liltmoon does not currently offer an account or cloud backup for this information.
Optional feedback and support
If you use the in-app Send Feedback form, Liltmoon sends the feedback category, your message, an optional reply email, and the app version and build number to Formspree. Formspree processes the submission on Liltmoon's behalf and delivers it to the Liltmoon support inbox.
The form does not automatically include your night records, notes, payment information, iPhone model, or iOS version. Under our current Formspree plan, submission history is retained for 30 days. Support correspondence is kept only as long as reasonably necessary to provide support or meet legal obligations.
Optional anonymous summaries
App Store releases and eligible Internal QA builds may offer a Share anonymous usage summaries switch. It is off by default. Collection begins only after you turn it on, starts fresh at that point, and does not import earlier night history.
A summary may include a one-time report identifier, calendar week, app version and build, in-app language, broad installation-age and active-night ranges, and totals for allowlisted feature interactions such as entering or completing a path, starting audio, or opening a feature.
These summaries do not include your name, email, avatar, device identifier, advertising identifier, exact event times, journal text, notes, individual night records, or a sequence of your nights. Current App Store Release and Internal QA uploads also exclude check-in answers and purchase results.
How anonymous summaries are processed
The collector checks each report against a fixed schema and immediately adds accepted values to group-level weekly totals. Liltmoon does not keep raw report, user, device, session, or event tables. A hash of the one-time report identifier is kept for up to eight days to prevent duplicate counting. Group totals are kept for no more than 26 weeks, and dashboard results remain hidden until a group reaches a minimum sample size.
The collector and restricted internal dashboard use Cloudflare infrastructure on Liltmoon's behalf. Cloudflare may process network information needed to deliver and protect the service. Liltmoon's analytics code does not write IP addresses or request bodies to its business database or join network information to aggregate metrics.
Liltmoon does not use these summaries for advertising, cross-app tracking, data sales, a server-side personal profile, or individualized recommendations.
Purchases
Apple processes subscriptions through the App Store. Liltmoon does not receive or store your full payment-card details.
Sharing and service providers
Liltmoon does not sell personal information or share local app information for advertising. Formspree processes information only when you submit feedback. If anonymous summaries are enabled, Cloudflare processes the anonymous aggregate request as Liltmoon's infrastructure provider.
Your choices
You can leave anonymous summaries off or turn them off at any time in an App Store release or eligible Internal QA build. Turning the switch off stops future collection and clears summaries waiting to upload without deleting your on-device Night Map. Clearing local app data also resets analytics consent and pending analytics state.
Accepted summaries cannot be retrieved or deleted for one person after they have been combined into group totals because Liltmoon does not keep an account or lasting identifier that could locate an individual contribution. See Privacy Choices for details.
You can clear local data from within Liltmoon or remove the app from your iPhone. Removing the app may remove information stored locally. Do not submit passwords, full payment-card details, Apple Account credentials, private journal entries, or sensitive health information through the feedback form.
